HOW AN IDEA TURNED INTO A BRAND KNOWN WORLDWIDE

The inception of HYLA as a brand was driven by the vision of its co-founders, mechanical engineer Doro Erjavec and his colleague Janez Pogacar.

The inspiration for the product came from Erjavec's personal experience, as his wife suffered from a house dust allergy that worsened with each house cleaning.

Realizing traditional vacuum cleaners, which used bags or other conventional filter systems, proved ineffective for people with allergies and respiratory issues. Thus, Erjavec recognized the need for a better solution, one that would remove dust and allergens from the air.

Erjavec and Pogacar begun embarking on an intensive research and development mission to create a more effective cleaning system that would utilize water as a its filtration.
